| Comments: | Not sure if this is possible, but I believe many of my relatives (or should I say grandmother''s) are still around the area. I would love to hear from them. What a beautiful church. Many thanks. |

| Comments: | My grandmother Elizabeth "Lizzie" Mc Closkey Moore was a parishioner of the church and resident before moving over here. I was surprised to find a picture of myself with some of my family members in the gallery from the Phila fundraiser years back! What a wonderful surprise! This is something I will have to share with my mother and aunts. I hope that one day I will be able to come to see this beautiful church. God bless! |

| Comments: | I'm Lizzie Marron's grand niece. My Father Joe McCloy, Lizzie's brother, migrated to settle in Westport New Zealand around 1922. I am the youngest of three girls, Mary the eldest and Anne in the middle. My family and I visited Port Glenone in 1999 and again in 2006. |

| Comments: | Hi again! I am wondering if anyone reads these messages. I had such a nostaligic time looking at the pic of Glenone PS from 1962. Easy for people to work out my age noW!!! DArn. All in the mind! I turned 50 in Jan 08 which had a significant impact on my approach. However having lived as a 50 year old for the 5 months it is safe to say that my teeth have not fallen out, my body is still in shape (need to shed a few pounds) my eyes, ears and mental agility are still intact. So all the rumours about turning 50 are not true unless you want them to be and I am sure you dont. By the way I am now a practising LIFE COACH so if I am not positive then not much hope for my clients. I retain an excellent sense of humour and a desire to have a great life. Travel to USA to visit my sis in May/June 08 which was so good I am planning a trip back at end of Sept 08. Have fun, be good and most of all stay positive! |

| Comments: | Please would you have any information in your records about my McAteer ancestors - Joseph b 12 Jul 1916, Maggie b 1919 (This is our real mystery what happened to her when her family emigrated to Australia in 1925/7)Patrick b 1921. Would like to have any baptism or death info and especially for Maggie (prob Margaret) so we could have closure to this family mystery. Thank you so much for any help you may be able to give me. |
| Reply: | If anyone would be able to help Kathleen please contact the website through the contact form and we will pass on the details or put you contact with her. Thank you. |

| Comments: | Searching for information on the Daly family of Glenone Townland. Marriages of some of the family were in the Greenlough parish church during 1850s/`860s. William Daly was my grt grt grandfather. Had nursery at Glenone townland and Daniel donated land for the National School just over the bridge from Portglenone. |

| Comments: | I was talking to Fr. Oliver on the phone the other night and it was great to hear the excitement he has about being in Greenlough parish. I want to thank all those who made my stay in Greenlough in January such a pleasure. And I want to wish all of you a very happy Easter. I look forward to a lot of further contact in the years ahead. God bless you all. |
