| Comments: | I have gone back to searching for the origins of part of my family and have found the first to come to New Zealand was William McTeer born Nov 1856 in Greenlough County Derry, son of James McTeer and Susan McMullan. From the look of the photos, its seem there are people from the same families still around. Does anyone have similar links to this family. |

| Comments: | My great-great-grandparents, Patrick Cassidy & Catherine McLaughlin (also spelled McGlaughlin) lived in Moneystaghan. I have the 8/21/1849 St. Mary's baptismal record for Rosy McLaughlin but not for her brother John. Although I don't have his date of birth, would you possibly have his baptismal record? Also, I noted Margaret Robson's posting of 18(?)/4/2007 which mentions James Stafford McLaughlin. I am also researching a James Stafford McLaughlin, brother of my great-great-grandmother, Catherine McLaughlin, of your parish.
