Feed My Lambs, a book about Pope Francis for children and young people, was launched recently by Most Rev Donal McKeown. The book is illustrated by Year 7 pupils from Hollybush PS, supported by Thornhill College Pope John Paul II Award students. The book, priced £5 is available from the Derry Diocesan Catechetical Centre, 2, Francis St. Derry Tel: 02871264087 and Veritas Bookshop, Derry. Proceeds will go towards faith development projects for young people in the diocese.

Ladies and gentlemen,
Thank you for coming here this morning. I know that you have many calls on your time. I thank you for the important role that you have played and continue to play in both Church and civic society.
New Bishop o f Derry
His Holiness Pope Francis has announced that Bishop Donal McKeown is to be the new Bishop of the Diocese of Derry.
Bishop Donal McKeown was presented to the priests and people of the diocese by Fr. Francis Bradley, Diocesan Administrator, accompanied by the Apostolic Nuncio, Archbishop Charles Brown, at a Prayer Service in St. Eugene’s Cathedral, Derry.
