The Sunday morning congregations in Ballyscullion, Bellaghy, and Greenlough were all saddened by the news of the death on Saturday evening, 26 October, of Fr Liam Donnelly, aged 85. Fr Liam had celebrated the 60th anniversary of his ordination to the priesthood in June of this year, and had been helping out regularly in the churches of our parishes for a number of years, having served in the parish of Bellaghy/Ballyscullion from 1977-1981.
