Power given to us, the Church
“Where two or three meet in my name I shall be there with them.” What a wonderful promise that is. And what an extraordinary power that promise gives us as followers of Christ. Because of our Baptism, we are people who always meet in his name whatever the purpose of our meeting.
Ann Kearney (née Grieve) RIP, 179 Mayogall Road, Portglenone, 29th August 2026 (peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family), beloved wife of Paddy Joe, much loved mother of Paula (McTaggart), Gareth, Shauna (Donaghy), Claire (McGinnis), Christina and Gerard. Loving sister of Mary, Geraldine, Jacqueline and Kevin, and the late Hugh and Martin.
Ann’s wake will officially begin at her late residence on Sunday 30th August at 10am. Her remains will leave from there on Tuesday 1st September at 10.20am
Patsy McPeake, RIP (30 Mullaghnamoyagh Road, Portglenone) 16th August 2026 (peacefully at hospital surrounded by his loving family), beloved husband of Mary Ann, much loved father of Maureen (Dorman), Roisin (McElhinney), Sharon (Devlin), Patrick, Liam, Seamus and the late Brenda and Donard and loving brother of the late Willie, Charlie, Henry, Mamie, Bridget and Rose.
Patsy’s wake officially began in his late residence on Tuesday 18th August at 11am. His remains left from there on Wednesday 19th August at 10.20am
